Consolidation & Load Optimization
Source Freight uses the shipping volume of all its customers to generate economies of scale for common shipping destinations. Since our TMS is based on the same platform as our WMS, the WMS generates a complete visibility of all shipments coming in or out of any of our locations by region, volume and destination.
This translates into a master report suggesting the consolidation alternatives for each destination, from there our expert transport coordinators take charge to consolidate the multiple loads into single shipments per destination, distributor or retailer.
